Nothing is more delightful than a homemade, handcrafted Christmas. And we’re not just talking about French toast and cod. Our menu is different! How about a placemat, a coaster, a napkin ring, and a decorative knitted holly? Simple pieces, but they make all the difference on a Portuguese table!
The plate and cup bases are knitted in the round from the inside out, with increases placed at strategic points to achieve the desired effect. The napkin ring is knitted flat, forming a strip and closing by joining the cast-on row with the bind-off row. The holly pattern has a video tutorial available from the designer HERE!
This project is knitted in Christmas colors, but the reality is that it can be made in any color and worn at any time of year.
