Teresinha is knitted with two strands of yarn together. We added a strand of mohair to our Heaven Light yarn, and the combination resulted in an irresistibly soft feel. It is made in two equal parts that are joined together. Both are knitted in the same way and distinguished by the color sequence used. The first part begins at the pointed end and ends in short, straight rows, compensating for the unevenness created by the pointed end. The second part is knitted in the same way, reversing the sequence of secondary colors. Finally, the parts are joined by stitching them together. The “line” of the join corresponds to the center of the final piece.
